Application of Slime Mould Algorithm to Infinite Impulse Response System Identification Problem

Recently, the researchers working in field of science and engineering have paid a considerable attention to concept system identification tackle with complex optimization problems. It is feasible achieve more accurate models physical plants infinite impulse response (IIR) compared their finite counterparts (FIR). To get most out IIR for identification, metaheuristic algorithms can be used as efficient solutions. This work, therefore, aims demonstrate promising performance new algorithm named slime mould algorithm. In this regard, comparative assessment performed using different techniques model problems are considered. The shown better accuracy robustness terms help obtained statistical results.
